Every day we read about tattoos and tattoo removal in the news. Laser tattoo removal is growing in popularity as quickly as any other cosmetic procedure, and the reason is no surprise. Millions of Americans get tattoos every year, and more and more of them are regretting that decision.

Just last week, a city council of Bountiful Council, Utah announced that new employees would be banned from tattoos in visible places on the body – face, neck, hands, although current staffers are exempt from the rule. City Manager Tom Hardy explained the vote by saying “when a police officer shows up, you don’t want to see a Nazi tattoo on their forehead or a ring around their nose.” Bountiful Council is one of the first towns to extend the tattoo ban from police officers to all city workers.
